Covid-19 Update 09/04/20

Good Morning Owners,

With Easter approaching we are receiving a high volume of calls from owners asking if they can visit their holiday homes to ‘check’ on things. The governments advise remains the same:

People should avoid travel unless it is essential.
Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar. People must remain in their primary residence. Not taking these steps puts additional pressure on communities and services that are already at risk.
Stay at home, protect the NHS, save lives.

At the moment the virus is preventing you from visiting your holiday home, but we want you to know that until this crisis comes to an end we are working as hard as possible to look after the parks.
In the unlikely event that we have any concerns, you will be contacted directly as soon as possible. Measures are in place to allow essential maintenance to be carried out on the parks.

During this period of temporary closure, we are continuing to invest in the future of our parks. We have always invested in our business and will continue to do so. We are very happy to make this financial commitment as it will ensure we are able to resume quickly and strongly, providing our services to you when we receive the word to re-open. We are confident that Maguires Country Parks will bounce back, stronger than ever providing you with the same high standards of which we are so proud.

When we have a better idea of how long our closure will be enforced, we will look carefully at how we can respond fairly and responsibly to the situation in which we have been placed. In the meantime, we will of course be honouring in full the terms of your Licence Agreement in so far as we are able under the current Government instructions

We know that this is a difficult time for everyone. We would usually be welcoming you all to the parks. However, as the official advice has not changed then we ask you NOT to visit the parks for any reason. Please DO NOT call the office asking if you can visit the parks. Please only contact the parks for EMERGENCIES ONLY. We are working extremely hard to ensure that the parks are ready to reopen as soon as the government advise changes and we can look forward to welcoming you back.

Lets all hope it won’t be long until we are all reunited, in the meantime, stay safe.

The Maguire Family
