From the north: Heading towards Berwick Upon Tweed on the A1 you will see a service station called Purdy Lodge on the right hand side of the road. At Purdy Lodge turn right onto the B1341 Bamburgh road. After a couple of miles you will go over the level crossing at Lucker and the road starts to climb. Shortly after the crossing you will come to a sharp left hand bend on the B1341 with a rowing boat on the left of the road. The park entrance is opposite the boat on the right hand side.
From the village of Bamburgh take the B1341 out of the village past the shops and pubs with the castle behind you. Follow the road for a mile or so and you will pass some cottages then you will see a rowing boat on the right side of the road and the park entrance is opposite.
